We act as a data controller for certain information (such as your account details) and a data processor for the content you manage through our platform.

We collect personal information to provide our services, improve our platform, and comply with legal obligations.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Data: Name, email address, password, and billing information (processed by third-party payment processors like Stripe).
  • Profile Data: Profile pictures, social media handles, and bio information.
  • Communications: Support tickets, feedback, and other correspondence.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, and feature usage.
  • Device Data: IP address, browser type, and operating system.

3. Social Platform Integrations and Disclosures

RevenuePost integrates with major social media platforms via their official APIs. We respect platform-specific requirements and the privacy of your audience.

3.1 Google & YouTube API Services

  • Purpose: We use YouTube API Services to schedule posts, retrieve analytics, and manage video content.
  • Compliance: This service uses YouTube API Services. By using our service, you agree to be bound by the Google Privacy Policy (https://www.google.com/policies/privacy).
  • Data Retention: YouTube-related data cached by our service is refreshed every 24 hours and deleted within 30 days of account disconnection or termination.
  • Revocation: You can revoke our access to your data at any time via the Google Security Settings. For detailed steps, see Revoking Platform Permissions.

3.2 Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

3.3 TikTok, LinkedIn, and others

  • Purpose: Scheduling content and analyzing performance.
  • Data Usage: We do not sell your data to third parties, nor do we use it for surveillance purposes. We only access the minimum scopes required for content management.

4. AI Data Usage & Transparency

RevenuePost incorporates AI tools (e.g., OpenAI) to enhance content creation. We prioritize user control over data used by these models.

4.1 AI Processing

  • AI models process your content to generate suggestions, captions, or optimizations.
  • No Training by Default: Your data is NOT used to train third-party AI models unless you explicitly opt-in to personalized model training features in your account settings.
  • Data Anonymization: Where possible, we strip personally identifiable information before sending prompts to AI partners.

5. Cookies and Tracking Transparency

We use cookies to enhance your experience. We categorize them as follows:

5.1 Essential Cookies

  • Purpose: Enable core functionality like security, authentication, and session management.
  • Control: These cannot be disabled as they are required for the platform to function.

5.2 Analytics & Performance

  • Sub-processors: We work with service providers (e.g., Cloudflare) under strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs). We maintain a commitment to transparency regarding our sub-processor list.

  • Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except where required for legal or financial records (e.g., billing history).
  • Security: We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and at rest, alongside role-based access controls.

RevenuePost is based in the United States. For users in the EU/UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other valid transfer mechanisms to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

  • Access & Portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
